Tandoori Hummus for an Indian BBQ

A Feasting at Home recipe, a fish-shaped platter, and the beginning of an entire Indian BBQ.

I had people over for an Indian BBQ.

This is a thing I apparently decided to do.

The menu was built around Indian flavors, but I wanted something easy to put out while everyone arrived and I dealt with whatever was happening at the grill.

Enter the Tandoori Hummus from Feasting at Home.

The hummus itself is already doing plenty: tandoori spices, crispy chickpeas, curry leaves and a tempering poured over the top. I could have put it in a bowl with some naan and been finished.

I did not.

I put it on the table with grilled naan, cucumbers, watermelon radishes, roasted mini peppers and more crispy chickpeas and turned the whole thing into an appetizer platter.

It looked like I had done quite a lot.

This is my preferred outcome.

Good to Know:

The platter does not need to be shaped like a fish
